Motorcycle Repair: carburator, 1987 harley 883, speed jet

Can you tell me which jets are in a s&s shorty carb. model # ce02987 338. This carb. is on a 1987 harley 883 xlh deluxe.I have a 066 & 28 in it now. The spark plugs are carbon fouled bad when I idle.

I don't know which jets go with that model number but if your fouling plugs at an idle you could try shutting down a little on the idle mixture screw its the big gold one on the top of the carb. body. If this just makes your bike run poor then put the setting back where it was and try a 26.5 low speed jet in place of the 28 your presently running.
