Motorcycle Repair: 2001 roadking claissec, power commander, roadking

QUESTION:  my 2001 road king has a power commander it was installed in 2002. my bike is runing good but seems to be running rich and coughs some times should the power commander be adjusted it has never been touched sense it was installed

ANSWER: Has it always done this since installing the power commander? Pull a plug and let me know what color it is

QUESTION:  hi mike answer to your question no it never ran rich and cought after the power commander was in stalled it just started doing this last ridding season. mike the center of the plugs are like a off white and the inside DIAMETER of the sparke plugs IS BLACK

Check your intake manifold and exhaust for a leak. For the exhaust, you can run your fingers around the pipes at the connections, carefully, and see if you feel air movement. On the intake, Let the bike warm up and spray a little carb cleaner around the manifold. If the RPMs go up then you hae a leak
