Motorcycle Repair: just out of storage, intake manifold, sportster

QUESTION: just took the bike out of storage,it was running fine when i put it away.Now it starts fine,but as soon as i try to give it some throttle it wants to cut out.Put it up the same way i have for years,with no problem. HELP its getting nice out!

Sounds like you've got a intake manifold to head leak. Start bike and let warm up then with bike at an idle spray carb cleaner on the joints where your intake manifold meets your heads on the front and rear heads at the compliance fittings if the bike stalls out then you've got a leak.
