I have a 1980 650 Honda custom, the bike will not run only when the choke is on, I hade the carbs check & clean & they are good.So wht should I check next?

Dennis, I'm not sure I'm understanding your problem.  I think you're saying the bike will only run with the choke on.  If that's the case the low speed jets are plugged and will need to be cleaned out.  I usually use a very thin copper wire to poke through the jets and route out the varnish.
