Motorcycle Repair: ACETONE ON CHROME, acetone, safe side

DO YOU KNOW WHAT EFFECT ACETONE HAS ON CHROME?

I dont think it will hurt it if you are using it to clean chrome. I use carb cleaner to clean chrome and it has some asetone in it and it doesnt hurt the chrome. Just to be on the safe side, try it in a small spot where you really cant see the chrome.
