Motorcycle Repair: CB900C Cam Swap, honda 4, cb900

Mr. Kingsmill,  I am currently restoring and customizing an 82 CB900 given to me by my father.  He has several models around the yard including an 83 1100F.  We were kicking around the idea of swapping the 900 cams for the bigger ones from the 1100F.  Do you think this will cause any problems, especially with overheating on this air cooled bike?  Thank you for your time.

I do not know if the cam from an 1100 will fit a 900, let alone improve the performance, but I know who would know: The folks at the Honda DOHC Customs forum http://www.cb750c.com/index.php

There is no cost to join the forum and if anything can be done with a Honda 4 someone there has probably done it or knows why it can't be done.
