Motorcycle Repair: FLHRC Front Caliper Installation, flhrci, calibers

Question
I have a 2006 FLHRCI. I just replaced the front fender. I had a hard time getting the calipers off the rotors because of interference with the edge of the fender. I'm getting ready to put the wheel back on and reinstall the calipers. Any tips on how I might be able to get them to slide into place a little easier? Part of the problem may be that I have Harley braided lines and there's not much slack. Thanks!

Answer
Its best to have the front wheel off the axle and the bike jacked up a little. Install the fender and put he wheel in without the axle. lower the bike slowly and put the calibers on the rotor, then lower the bike to get the axle in. Then install the bolts for the calibers
Good luck and happy riding
