Motorcycle Repair: s&s oil pump removel, panhead, oil pump

I own a 49 panhead with a s&s oil pump and on my last start up i noticed i have no oil pressure at the gauge and oil leaking from bottom of pump where pump meets the case. i really need to fix this my self because my dad is now in biker heaven and he left great piece of machine to me. Im trying to remove it but it wont come out.if you could help me i would really apperciate it.thanks again

First you have to remove the outer cover. On hte shaft that goes through the pump and into the case there is a clip. You have to remove it. Then remove the gears and keyway. Slide the body off and then remove the inside gears and keyway. If you want to remove the shaft then you have to remove cam cover and on the end of the shaft is another clip. remove that clip and slide the shaft out. Dont loose the keyway inside the drive gear
