Motorcycle Repair: 85 ironhead, gasket leaks, special tools

I've owned this bike for awhile now and its been decent, but it started leaking oil out of the rocker box. it mainly does it real bad on the freeway. my question is do I need anything special to replace that gasket? and what may of caused it to do that all of a sudden? Thank You for your time

the gasket leaks probably from old age. in order the replace the gasket you have to remove the head and pushrods. You dont need any special tools. You might want to get a service manual to follow if you have never done this before
