Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 1987 buick century locations for sensors, vehicle speed sensor, buick century

hi there can you tell me where i can find the v.s.s. and i.a.c0. on an 87 buick century 2.8l wagon...it does not have the digital dash...the guy i talked to said that there is two v.s.s. sensors for the century i need to know which one i should buy. i found out there was a problem with the sensors when my car wouldnt start and the computer diag. spit out the codes 24 and 35 which are the vss and iac please help

hi curt.ok well the vss or vehicle speed sensor is located on your transmission.it will be on the longest part of your trans where the axle goes in.there will be a plug there and a bolt holding it in the trans.#2iac.or idle air control.find your breather tube comeing from your air filter follow it up to the throttlebody at the very end of the hose.this will be one of the sensors mnted on throttlebody .the sensor you want is identified bye it,s flat plug 5 or 6 wire very flat..good luck please take a sec to rate my help ty billy mac
