Motorcycle Repair: Honda Scramblers, cl350, exhaust pipes

Question
Hi, I am actually looking at bikes to purchase as a first bike and I am going back and forth on some of the older honda scramblers.  I am looking at both the Cl350 and the CL360-the 350 being 1973 and pryor and the 360 being 1974 and a few years after.  Other than slightly different displacement and a few differences in cosmetics, are there any major differences in performance and/or ride?  Also, what is the major difference between the CL scramblers and their CB counterparts other than the heightened exhaust pipes?  If you could also please direct me to where I might be able to find more information on these bikes, it would be most appreciated. I have googled for the CL360 a few different ways, but I still can't pull up much technical information on it.

Thanks for all your help!

Answer
Well Tim, the major difference in the CB and CL is the exhaust as you observed.  The CL exhaust is tuned for more low end torque and the CBs was tuned for more top end power.  There wasn't a lot of difference between the actual peak power and you probably not feel any difference in the seat of your pants.  The CL 350 and 360 were completely different motors.  None of the parts interchange.  I personally like the CL350 over the CL360...more for styling more than anything and the CL360 motor had a number of recalls. The 360 had a little more power due to it's displacement increase.  I don't think the rides were particularly better or worse that the other.  The internet is still probably the best source but I'm not aware of any sites specializing in those models.
