Motorcycle Repair: oil, honda magna, 20w50

what is the best oil for a 2001 honda magna

Answer
I've always used Honda oil or Castrol 10W40 or 20W50 depending on if the engine is water cooled or air cooled.  I'm sure you can get a lot of opinions on this subject and I'm sure there are people that know a lot more than I do about the types and brands of oil. I figure Honda knows a lot more about what their motors need so I tend to go with theirs even if it costs a bit more.
