Motorcycle Repair: rear brakes on a 97 heritage, brake pumps, rear brakes

Question
i'm looking at this for a friend.no brake action at the rear wheel whatsoever.haven't found a rear master cylinder(don't know if there is one).need to know how to bleed the brakes.i was told that it is a '97 heritage softail-his brother in-law owned it in florida.he died and took most of the info about the bike with him.don't rightly know where to begin.can you help me at all?
thanks,Kristian

Answer
Follow the brake line from the pedel back and you will see the master cylinder. Remove the cover and see if any brake fluid is in there. If its dry add some DOT 5 fluid. If it is then go to the brake caliber and pump the pedel and while holding it down, open the bleeder. Keep doing this until the brake pumps up
Good luck and happy riding
