When i start my 2001 yamaha yzf 600r the idle is to high and i have to adjust the choke, even if it's warm. what can i do to fix it.

Hi Bry... Man, I'd like to help ya out here, but I need to know more to try to give ya an accurate diagnosis...

1) Has the bike been sitting for an extended period of time?
2) Has it always done this or did it just suddenly start acting up?
3) Is it hard to start?
4) Does the idle change after starting? Or does it constantly stay too high?
