Motorcycle Repair: c70 passport electrical, honda c70 passport, signal relay

Hello Jack, my 1981 honda c70 passport deluxe, none of the lights work at all, not even netural light, and  electric start not working neither. only thing that works is horn. all lights  bulbs are good, headlamp is  blown. has new correct battery,  signal relay, and the little square fuse thing, plus the glass fuse, all new.. can you help me out ?... oh yeah  it did use to start with button .  Jack thanks for your help.... Hi Tracy...

The C70 Passport is a very simple 6volt electrical system. I assume that the bike does run, but that you are kick starting it? Based on everything you have said, I think your problem will be found where the wires for all affected circuits join. The passport has only one fuse, and ya know it is good... so the problem is gonna be between that fuse and where the wires branch off to the other circuits. Also check the main ignition key switch, but if the bike runs, the key switch is prolly not the problem. Use a test light to make voltage checks with the key on. I'm betting that there will be an area where a group of wires are crimped to a main "feed" wire, and that connection is prolly bad and/or corroded. Good Luck Tracy.
