Motorcycle Repair: stator plug leaking after i had a new drive belt installed, sealent, stator

i seen your answer to the other gentlemen about replacement but i have a 96ss engine with only 2000 miles on it and after the drive belt was installed this happend soon as i started the bike.is something that could be repaired or do i need to replace?

If the stator plug is leaking there is not much you can do about it. It is a pressed fit and the plug is suppose to keep it from leaking. You can remove the plug, clean it and put some sealent on it, but that is no guarantee that is will not leak. The only other thing to do is change
