Motorcycle Repair: 1998 Suzuki DR200 (DF200) ...horsepower, suzuki dr200, galway ireland

Hi, I'm at my wit's end:  I am trying to find a spec sheet for a 1998 DR200 (New Zealand spec), which shows the weight and power of the engine.   This because.......the insurance company aren't familiar with it, and won't cover it.....it's the same as a DR200, but in an odd colour.... see here:  http://www.sip-energy.com/JM/DR200_1.JPG

Wow John... this is a bit of a mystery. I took a look at the pic of the bike, and noticed the "DF" designation on the tank. As far as I know a DF200 is a Suzuki outboard marine engine!! Is it possible that a previous owner repainted the bike? What makes this even tougher for me is that you are in Ireland with a New Zealand spec bike. I tried some of my best known sources and the closest I could find is a site at TotalMotorcycles.com. Unfortunately their database is void of the 1998 model year DR200. So at this point I have two suggestions. One: try contacting the nearest Suzuki dealer and see if their sales or service guys can provide the spec sheets you require. Or two: Do not mention the "DF200" aspect to your insurance company... it may be confusing the issue. They may be concerned that you have a limited or special edition of a DR200. I am only familiar with models sold in the US. Good luck John and I hope this helps.
