Motorcycle Repair: 1972 FLH clutch cable, clutch cable, clutch lever

How difficult is it to change a clutch cable on a Harley 1972 FLH Shovelhead.  Thank you.

Not that tough. loosen the cable at the adjuster on the cable so you have alot of slack in it. Remove it from the clutch lever. there is a pin in the lever that holds the lever is. Follow the cable to the top of the trans and remove it from the clutch arm. It is just a ball on the end of the wire and just slides out. Install the new one and adjust the cable so you have about 1/8 inch play in it
