Motorcycle Repair: 73 honda cb500, accel coils, pilot jet

i put new accel coils on, in directions it says to put larger jets in to keep from overheating but did not say what sizes, it has main jet size 100 ,pilot jet 40 where do i go from here

I don't have experience with this setup but I would start with the stock jets and examine the color of the plugs to see if they are running overly lean. The plugs should have a tan coating over the insulator and there should be deposits over half the metals tab. If you find that the insulator is clean or the plugs show signs of overheating, you can then step up to the next hald size (100.5 and 40.5) jets.
