Motorcycle Repair: FJ600 (85), yamaha fj600, battery connections

Hey Mitch,
  About a month ago, I purchased two, not running, 1985 Yamaha FJ600's. I have taken parts from both bikes to make one reliable one. I have been riding it now for about three weeks when I noticed this particular issue. It started with the tach not responding immediately on start up, but then catching up and working. Now, the tach does not work at all, the turn signals do not work. The head light and tail light illuminate fine, but the brake light does not work (when braking). I thought it could be a batt issue, but the bike starts and runs fine. Any ideas? Thanks!

hello christian ..

sounds like you  have a wire shoting out somewher maybe inder the seat . you might wan to follw the tach's wire to the end of there routed destination also check all yur battery connections sound simple .if you need more help im here for you ok. God Bless
