Motorcycle Repair: 1984 Honda Electrical, honda v30 magna, 1984 honda v30 magna

Question
I just purchased a 1984 Honda V30 Magna and it ran great for 1 day.  Now I can't get any power to anything.  The main fuse was good until I accidentally busted it (it was brittle) and all the other fuses are good.  I have jostled the wires around behind the dash to no avail.  I'm assuming I'm just going to have to get in there and start probing every wire.  If you have any pointer around that process, that would be great.  But my main question is, how do I go about getting a new main fuse?  It was a 30amp, open metal strip style fuse, about an inch long.  I don't know the part number or how to find it.  Thanks in advance!

Answer
The fuse part number is 98200-53000 and I'm pretty sure you can still get them from Honda.  I'd bet you have a worn or dirty ignition switch.  Try working the switch a few times after you replace the fuse and see if it doesn't polish up the contacts.  My daughter's Magna does the same thing sometimes in the spring.
