Motorcycle Repair: front brake pads..., braks, master cylinder

Question
I replaced the pads on my front braks on my 2001 STDeuce. I was able to pry the old pads open to force back the pistons. After replacing the pads I have NO pressure on the brake at all...in trying to bleed the brakes there is minimal amount of brake fluid coming out of the plug release.

Answer
Dont try to bleed them before pumping them up. Keep pumping the lever. It takes quit a while, due to the fact that the hole for the fluid to go through in the master cylinder is really small. Make sure the master cylinder is full of fluid. If you just pried them open for new brakes you really dont need to bleed them. You didnt get any air in the lines by doing that
Good luck and happy riding
