Motorcycle Repair: 08 harley tank removal, tank removal, fxstc

i have an 08 fxstc.  i am removing the tank, is the crossover line the mechanism that is located below the tank seal plate that is located under the speedo housing.  Sort of looks like some type of fuel pump?  also, please describe the removal of the fuel line (s).  thanks

The cross over is the line in the front that equalizes the tanks. Make sure you drain the tank. When you remove the cross over gas will run out if you dont. The fuel lines are quick connect type. Push up on the ring and the line will slide off
