Motorcycle Repair: 82 CB450SC Nighthawk Speedometer, speedometer shop, check ebay

Do you know what the speedometer ratio is for this bike. I need to buy an after-
market replacement and need to know the ratio, in order to buy the correct one.

Dave, I don't know that information. Honda used to mark the speedos with a 1mile=xxxx rpm stamp, but probably they didn't do that on the later machines. If you consult a speedometer shop, they will advice that you measure the circumference of the tire, then mark off a certain distance and then count the turns of the speedo cable.

37200-MC0-670 is the Honda part number for the unit. Try www.westernhillshonda.net as a parts source. Or check ebay or salvage yards for another correct replacement.
