Motorcycle Repair: 99 fxd brake light, light switches, brake switch

Question
I was wondering is it possible for both brake light switches to go out at the same time or is there somewhere else I should be looking. Tail light and everything else works fine.

Check to see if you have a broken or short in the wiring. Go to the brake switch for the rear and test for juice on the posts on both sides. One should be always hot with the ignition switch on. then check the front switch. If you dont have power then you have a short
