Motorcycle Repair: Oil from carburetor 1993 FLHTC Evo, mikuni carburetor, aftermarket air filter

Question
QUESTION: The engine has a cam installed.  Also has a S+S oil pump installed  Has a aftermarket air filter. This air filter has something of a flow through design which would allow the air directly through it from front to back.  And the blowby lines from the head are going directly to the air.  (Not connected to air filter) The oil tank is kept at about half full on the stick.  I'm getting an oil spray on the right side of the bike.  This is collecting on the side cover and the front of the saddlebag.  The oil seems to accumulate faster when the bike has been ridden hard.  No smoking and seems to run strong.  And did a quick compression check and showed about a hundred psi per cylinder.

ANSWER: Check the motor. Where does is see to be coming from?

QUESTION: Forgot to mention also has HSR Mikuni carburetor.  I would say that in fact it is getting the backside of the air filter.  I had the air filter off and could see a mist coming from out of the carburetor when I revved the engine.  So I am thinking that it is coming out of the carburetor and through the air filter.

ANSWER: There is no oil that goes to the carb. When you say that the blow by lines are directly to the air, are they on a hose to the bottom of the bike or just open to air?

QUESTION: After thinking about it overnight I understand your question.  Yes I do have some oil at the engine.  Comes out around the oil pressure fitting also some around the base of the push rods and a little around the sandwich pack of the front cylinder valve cover.  But all of this is slightly.  And it does make sense that perhaps it is blowing off the engine and getting sucked into the carburetor through the air filter and also over of the bike.  If I may ask another question.  When accelerating and running through the gears everything seems to be fine.  But when say running in fifth gear and downshifting to fourth, then under hard throttle the engine breaks up as if it is going lean. I have a Screaming Eagle ignition box installed. I have hit the revlimiter before, but in this case I'm not even near the limit.

Answer
Check your pumper on your carb. Might not be punping enough fuel when you get on it
As to your oil leak, it sounds like that is where its coming from. Even small drops will blow back and spread out looking like its alot
Good luck and happy riding
