Motorcycle Repair: Whats it worth?, throttle cables, night train

Question
Bought an '08 night train. Have an '83 FLHY ELECTRA GLIDE CLASSIC. This bike is truly 1 of a kind. Loaded with parts and accessories "you can't do that". It's set up like a Road King yet still has fork mounted gages. Police windshield. Spike, singlefire ingnition, S&S super, .875 cam built heads, pythons ,Barnett 5 stud clutch/grooved disks and 1 1/2" baby ape's ,all wires internal and ss braid brake lines and throttle cables. Costom made (wrapped) Big Bertha style fringed saddlebags. Needs a little TLC.

Answer
Its hard to put a value on a custom bike, its usually what the market will stand. Right now Harleys are not holding there value like they used to. A stock 83 woould be worth around 7,000 in good condition, then you would have to take into account what you paid for the extras. Generally, you divide what you paid for the extras by 1/2 to 1/3 and add that to the price of the bike
Good luck and happy riding
