Motorcycle Repair: derby cover, burrs, sportster

Question
I recently changed my derby cover on my 06 xl sportster,but have now noticed a leak.how do i stop this?

Pull the derby cover and make sure the gasket surface is clean. Check the gasket for damage and if it is replace it. Make sure the derby cover doesnt have any burrs on it. Tighten all the bolts in a X pattern and you should be good
