Motorcycle Repair: 30 amp fuse, amp fuse, fuse holder

Rich. i have a 1979 Honda 650cb/4cylinder. located beside the battery is a fuse box. after opening the box i saw 2 screws. connected to the screws is a flat piece of metal broken in half. Is this the fuse? where can i find this piece?

Yes Gary, that's the fuse.  You can still get them from Honda.  They aren't too expensive.  On my 85 sabre with the same set up, I just went to the automotive store and bought a fuse holder and wired it in to replace the Honda fuse and now I can use automotive style blade fuses.
