Motorcycle Repair: points on c105, wire cutters, point spring

hello,what is the washer sequence on the points for a 1964 honda 55 c105. there's insullated and steel washers.ididn't pay attension to what order they were in before i tore it apart. thanks

I usually just take wire cutters and slot the connector so I don't have to take all the washers loose.  If you slot the eyelet, you just loosen the screw on the new points and slip the eyelet under the metal washer and tighen things up. Having said this, there should be a plastic washer on both sides of the mounting plate so it's completely insulated from the point spring and the little screw holding everything together.  The steel washer and lock washer go next to the point spring so it makes the connection from the point wire to points.
