Motorcycle Repair: HOW TO CHANGE CLUTCH LEVER, clutch lever, xlch

HI,
  MIKE I JUST BOUGHT A 2007 FLSTSC CAN YOU PLEASE PLEASE TELL MY HOW TO INSTALL A NEW CLUTCH LEVER ON MY 2007 FLSTSCI
I ALREADY BOUGHT THE PART #45015-96 FROM THE DEALER.I KNOW I MUST TAKE THE LEFT SIDE TURN LIGHT OFF,I KNOW THEY ARE 3 ADJUSTMENT POINTS I NEED TO KNOW WHICH 1 TO ADJUST SO I COULD INSTALL THE NEW CLUTCH LEVER.CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME OUT.I USED TO TAKE MY XLCH 1000CC APART I CAN FIX ANY SPORTSTER BUT I AM NEW WITH THE BIG V-TWIN 96INCH MOTOR,6 SPEED TRANNY,I HAVE ALL THE TOOLS JUST BOUGHT THE S&S SPECIAL ADDITION TOOL BOX.I AM VERY MECHANICALLY INCLINED.
CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME OUT,I WOULD DEEPLY APPRECIATE IT.

Answer
Go to the cable and loosen the locknut and turn the adjuster so the cable is shorter and it has slack in it. Now go to the lever and there is a pin through it. On the under side of the pin there is a clip. remove the clip and pin and the handle will slide out. Install the new lever and do everything in reverse. Adjust he cable so you have about 1/8 inch play in it
