Motorcycle Repair: no start, starter solenoid, starter relay

Question
I have a 1978 flh 1200 shovelhead. Wont turn over when I push start button and I am hearing an occassional clicking sound under dash console.

Answer
make sure you have a good battery. Check at the starter button to make sure you have power on both sides of it when you push it. Then go to the starter relay and make sure you hae power going to the starter solenoid and then check to see if you have power going to the starter. Which ever part doenst send power is ad and needs replaced.
