Motorcycle Repair: Power, low beams, high beams

Question
I have a 1978 Honda Twinstar. I just had the local honda dealer put in a new battery. Its a bit slow to start but it comes on. My turn signals come on but dont blink, my low beams dont work but the high ones do the tail light wont come on but the brake light will and when the break light comes on the plate lights come on with it. Ive never seen them work so if there is light below the dash for speedometer, then it doesnt work. When I have the high beams on my neutral light dims very faint, also so does the high beam light. Is there a short? a fuse? I have no idea?

Answer
Wow Matthew, I've never seen this one before.  I'm going to take a bit of a guess and say you probably have a bad wiring harness ground.  The electrical system is trying to find a ground through what ever circuit it can so a bunch of systems are acting up.  If you look around on the wiring harness you will find a green wire with an eyelet crimped to it and it needs to be grounded to the frame with a clean ground.  Also the battery cable needs to have clean grounds to the battery and to the engine mounting bolt where it attaches to the engine.

Good Luck

Sorry for the late response, I've been out of town on vacation.
