Motorcycle Repair: 2004 Dyna factory mixture screw setting, air fuel mixture, intermediate jet

Mike-Put on V & H Shortshots, cut baffle. Upped high speed jet & low.  Ran fine, but played with mixture screw (now have EZ screw because of advice from someone (grrr). Now runs like sh.. if at all. Do you know factory setting for mixture screw.  Been told 2 turns out, but not helping-fouling plugs.   THANKS!!!!!

Its not your air/fuel misture screw that is the problem. the air/fuel mixture screw only affects the idle. Once you are off idle, youa re on the intermediate jet up to around 2500 RPM, then you go to the main jet. Clean the plugs and start the bike and let it warm up. Slowly turn the screw inward, just until the bike starts to stumble and then out about 1/4 turn and its set. Go back to your orgional jetting and go for a ride. Do not go over 2500 RPM and ride for about 5 miles and check your plugs and adjust the intermediate jet from there. then go for a ride and go over 2500 RPM and adjust the main jet from there. each time you change jets readjust the air/fuel mixture screw
