Motorcycle Repair: hd cases, machinest, good luck

i have a 1985 sportster the left side bearing housing (the steel insert)came lose
can it be repaid

Answer
Your better off getting a new set of cases. You would have to get a machinest to make the repair by making a new insert and then cutting the case for it to fit. then it would have to be pressed in and the cases line reamed to match back up.
