QUESTION: oil leak from breather, after storage 1992 springer softail
88.

Answer
there is a ball int he oil pump that is suppose to keep the oil from funning into the motor when its shut off. You might have a speck of dirt or some carbon under it, keeping it open slightly. you can remove the plug on top of the oil pump and the spring. You will either have to pinch off the oil line or drain the oil. take a round punch and hammer and tap the ball to reseat it. You dont have to hit it really hard. the seat is alum.
Good luck and happy riding
