i have a 1978 honda cb550k with bad carbs i was wondering what carbs are inter changeable for this bike and what are the best i have my honda strait piped

Rob,

your carbs are engineered and designed
to work on the Honda 550. The only
replacement possible is another
set from the same models.
Possibly the carbs from 1974-1978
would fit.
The problem with other carbs is that
there is not much clearance to fit
them as well as needing a multiple
cable setup. Also it is a tuning
nightmare.
I suggest rebuilding your own thoroughly
or buying another used set to rebuild.
