Motorcycle Repair: engine upgrades, piston head, engine upgrades

Question
I'm ready to button up my 98 FXD motor with a set of 10.5 Wesco Pistons, Screamin Eagle Heads (w/ stock .030 gasket) with a Andrews EV27 cam. The cam has been in use with this engine before tear down. My question is should I check for any interference between the valves and piston head. If so, whats the easiest way to get this done?
Thanks for your time.

Answer
You are probably fine, but if you want to check you put some clay on the piston and install the head. Turn the motor over a couple of times, remove the head, and carefully measure the thickness of the clay. You need around .060.
Good luck and happy riding
