Motorcycle Repair: 83 flt 5speed, clutch cable, clutch lever

I've replaced my clutch cable and need to know how to adjust it. No where near how my virago is.  Thank You George

With the clutch cable loose, go to the adjuster in the primary. Slowly turn the adjuster screw inward, jut until to bottoms out, then outward about 1/8 turn. Tighten the locknut. Go to the cable adjuster and turn it until you have about 1/8 inch play in the clutch lever and tighten the locknut
