Motorcycle Repair: 85 honda magna vf700c questions, honda magna, spark plug wire

Question
Two questions.  First is:  Is there an available aftermarket or OEM fuel tank that fits an 85 magna for a higher fuel capacity?

Second:  My magna has been having a lot of trouble starting in semi-cool weather (around 60-70 degrees is when it starts having difficulties).  With choke on full, it won't start, and will leak fuel after a few attempts to start.  However, if I shoot a bit of intake cleaner into the intake screws, I find that the bike responds and almost always starts.  Not sure if this is relevant, but it also appears to be idling very low (around .5-1 rpms) at start which could have some affect on the inability to start.  Is there anything I can and should do to help alleviate this problem?

Answer
Sean,

First answer.. No, not that I know of

Second answer... The hard starting/low idling could be from plugged idle jets in the carburetors. If you let the bike sit for more than a couple of weeks, the fuel separates into a layered alcohol/gasoline batch in the floats and the alcohol will plug up the idle jets.

Other options are petcock diaphragm failures, air leaks at the intake manifold connections, weak spark units, bad spark plug caps, spark plugs, loose spark plug wire connections.

Honda made Magnas in several different displacement sizes, so it is helpful to clarify the specific model, as not all versions have the same types of systems and components.
