Motorcycle Repair: Ignition Fault on Kawasaki GPZ motorcycle, kawasaki gpz, wiring loom

Question
I have a kawasaki Gpz250 1984 model motorcycle, I have replaced the wiring loom, regulator and CDI unit. The trouble is i do not have any power to the cdi and the coils.
Could you please advise what could be the cause for the loss of power and the loss of spark.
I have checked all connections including all fuses and all appear OK

Answer
I would look into the soource. You pulse coils is more than likely the culprate. It sends CDI a pulse that tells the coils when to fire. It'll be run off the crank on one side of the motr or the other. Could even be within the stator assy.

Hope this helps!
