Question
GDAY MIKE IM WANTING TO CHANGE THE CLUTCH CABLE(TO A BRAIDED ONE)ON MY 2005 HERITAGE COULD YOU GIVE ME A QUICK SIMPLE RUN DOWN OF THE PROCEDURE,IS IT NECCESSARY TO POP THE CLUTCH RELEASE COVER AND IF SO ARE THERE ANY FLYING SPRINGS TO WATCH OUT FOR .
THANX FOR YA TIME AND ADVICE

Answer
Drain the trans fluid. remove the exhaust if it is in the way. Remove the derby cover and loosen the adjustment for the clutch. Remove the trans cover and in it you will see the cable attachment. Nothing will pop out. replace the cable and button it up. Adjust the clutch and the cable. Add your trans fluid and your good to go
Good luck and happy riding
Mike
