Motorcycle Repair: High fuel consumption, valve seals, piston rings

I am owner of pulsar dts-i 220cc bike from bajaj but i suffer from a problem of engine oil consumption.

in your subject you say high fuel
consumption, is it that or
is oil consumption the problem?

Oil consumption is usually from
badly sealing or damaged piston rings
or leaking valve seals.
Another cause could be an oil
leak somewhere due to a faulty gasket.

-a compression check or better yet, a leak
down test can tell you if the engine
has bad rings etc.

If it is on warranty of any kind I would
take it to a Bajaj service center.
