Motorcycle Repair: 1985 Honda gl1200L, fuel pump relay, fuse holders

Question
Recently my bike has been cutting out on me. The fuel system light on the dash comes on then it just stops, but always started after about 10 or 15 minutes, like something might be heating up.  At first I thought it might be the fuel pump but I could feel fuel pressure at the filter. The bike would run for days without cutting out and I am afraid to take on the highway. Then one day while trying to get it to cutout by driving it around my neighborhood it luckly did so right in front of my house.  So I started by checking the spark and had none. My question is :  What would cause this to happen , would something in the fuel system cause me to loose spark. I appreciate any help that could give me.

Answer
Nick,

there is a fuel pump relay but I am more suspect
of it being a loose connection somewhere.
-Check the battery cables, fuse holders
and any connector plugs and wires that go
into the ignition module, coils etc.
-A wire may be loose in the ignition
module connector or a wire rubbed through.
-Ground wires are suspect too.
There should be power to the blue/yellow
wire and the yellow/blue wires running to
the coils and fuel pump relay from the ignition
module.
This is when the ignition switch is on
and kill button off.
Check for power there when cranking
the engine.
