how do i adjust the valves on my 2005 yamaha 1100 v star?

-Just make sure the cylinder is on the compression
stroke before you change any adjustments.
-You can usually tell by shaking the valve
follower where the adjustment screw is and
make sure both of them move a little.
-If they don't, turn the engine over until
the valve adjust mark on the rotor aligns again.
