Motorcycle Repair: 1974 yamaha dt100, yamaha dt100, yamaha dt 100

Question
I have a 1974 Yamaha DT 100 that i got for cheap.I noticed that the oil injector hose coming from the reservoir is pulled out of the engine were i suspect the injector is and plugged.Is there any way to check to see if injector works or should i just keep mixing myself. thanks.Ian

the injector pump is in the right side cover.
It needs an oil line from the tank and
then it has a small line that goes to
the engine or carb to inject the oil.
If all the parts are there, you can turn the
little white plastic wheel under the cover
to see if it pumps oil out of the injector
line before you hook it on.
There is also a small bleed screw to remove
air bubbles on the side of the pump.
Make sure the oil is coming out of that
freely.
Keep mixing until you are sure it is pumping
okay. You may need to clean out the oil tank
in case it is plugged.
