Motorcycle Repair: VT1100 shadow no spark, panka, test light

I recently left the ignition turned on overnite on my 88 VT1100 Honda. It flattened the battery of course but after recharging it the bike spun over fine but still wouldnt start. No spark. Checked fuses. Ignition module and coils dont smell burnt. Test light indicates battery voltage getting to coils .

Hi Derek,
It sounds to me like your pulse coil or pick up coil is bad. Strange things can happen when a battery goes dead, maybe try that. When the coils are getting juice, but no pulse telling them when to unleash/spark, this is where I beleive where I would start...
