Motorcycle Repair: 1991 Honda CBR1000f wont start, honda cbr1000f, crankshaft sensor

Question
I SOLD THE BIKE THEN AFTER A MOMENT OF CLARITY BOUGHT IT BACK BUT NOT BEFORE THE ENEMY HANDS HAD A CHANCE TO PULL THE THROTTLE! Now there is spark but no gas getting into the cylinder head I know that the jets may be varnish because the bike sat for 5 months but is there also a crank trigger or crankshaft sensor that could have went south? I ask because i poured a small amount of gas into the top of each cylinder put the plugs in but it still wouldn't fire. Any assistance u can offer in this matter will greatly be appreciated. Thank-You

Answer
Hi Sean,

Well, youre on the right track as far as diagnosis goes, I would litterelly pull the tank, Take out A plug, put it in the boot, ground it, and verify you have NO spark. Then you can move on to the NO FUEL theory, OR start diagnosing why you have NO SPARK. Let me know what you come up with, and Id be glad to help you further...sound good?

Hops this helps!!
