This just started happening (3 times) Bike cuts off driving down the road when you try to start it sometimes it kicks over other times it takes a few tries when you hit the start button nothing. The bike sat for along while with very few rides in between and was just serviced by honda dealer carbs soaked and clean and complete go over I notced that while running at idle and the turn sigal on the head light dims an brightens with them could this be a battery problem

Mel, have the battery removed, fully charged and then load tested. That will eliminate one problem. The other possibility is that the stator plug connector is corroded or burned, causing intermittent charging system output.

The charging system doesn't put out much at idle, so a certain  amount of dimming is normal, brightening when the engine revs are brought up. Because the lights are brightening with increased revs, the charging system is at least partially functioning.

Batteries only last about 2 years, even with regular maintenance and riding.
