Motorcycle Repair: 2005 flstn softail deluxe, k n air filter, pipes

will the k&n air filter give me a little more hp?also what slip on pipes would you recommend,i want a better sounding pipe and more hp.nothing to loud.can i put the air filter on without rejetting etc.thanks

Changing the air filter and exhaust will increase you HP, but not by alot. You may see 1-5 horses. If you do this, however, you will need to rejett or you will run to lean. To see what pipes you want, listen to other bikes until you find the sound you are looking for and ask what the rider is running. Then you can be sure.
